About Skive Fjord Camping - camping with a view

Skive Fjord Camping is a campsite by the Limfjord in the border region between Central Jutland, North Jutland and West Jutland. The site is in the middle of nature and yet only four kilometers from the center and pedestrian street of Skive town!

The campsite is a bit of an architectural masterpiece; it is one of the few in Denmark (if not the only one) that is completely laid out on terraces. This means that everyone has a degree of view with us; over the Limfjord, over the campsite, or over the fields and forest around. And it has been done thoroughly - because here ALL pitches are good pitches! It is quite clear that Skive Fjord Camping has been laid out by skilled landscape architects who had an eye for creating an incredibly beautiful and systematic campsite where everyone has some kind of view! The campsite is located in the middle of nature right down to the Limfjord; but at the same time it is only four kilometers to the center of Skive town and the pedestrian zone.

Skive Fjord Camping is located on a south-facing slope, so there is plenty of light for everyone, and the terraces mean that you only have one neighbor on each side, and otherwise plenty of air around you. So you don't have to lie on a boring shortcut with other caravans both in front, behind and to the sides. It's a bit fantastic! At the same time, the terraces mean that even though you are on an open and airy campsite full of life and people, it is incredibly quiet and nice to be here. You can hear the birds chirping, enjoy your morning coffee in peace and quiet, and at the same time there are playmates for the kids and people around you.

If we are to give our completely unreserved and very subjective opinion - then Skive Fjord Camping is probably one of the most unique, beautiful and fantastic campsites in the country.We moved all the way from Zealand ourselves because the campsite is just SO beautiful, and we haven't regretted it for a second; so I wonder if you would also be quite happy to be here for a weekend, during your summer vacation, or maybe you just can't tear yourself away and stay the whole season.
