Take the whole family on a ghost hunt at Denmark's best-preserved medieval castle, Spøttrup Borg! 
During the autumn holidays, the whole family can follow the clues through the old medieval castle with the castle's Mystery Tour - and help the castle's children, Birte and Bjørn, solve the mystery of the castle's restless ghosts. Along the way, the family must solve tasks and use both eyes, ears and acumen to help the restless ghosts find peace of mind.

Take a colorful day trip to Jesperhus, where the Flower Park is filled with pumpkins, lights, smoke and child-friendly spookiness. Start the autumn holidays in Rødding - the City of Apples - when the whole family is invited to Denmark's largest knowledge festival about apples and cider. Taste and smell more than 120 different apple varieties, experience fresh apple cider, cider producers, lectures, street food and market stalls. Children can go on a treasure hunt, try apple throwing, be creative and make their own cider in the festival's mini cidery.

Experience Halloween in Scandinavia's oldest hand-excavated limestone mine. On Friday evening, the pumpkins are lit in the dark mine shafts, while actors provide thrills underground. On the weekend, the spookiness continues with actors in the mines, free pumpkin carving and a troll hunt in the forest. Maybe you'll also meet a storyteller with stories about bats and Jens Langkniv?

Night at the museum - do you dare?
When the lights go out at the Fur Museum, the ancient fossils suddenly become a little more alive. Bring your flashlight and explore among fossilized animals, traces of the past and dancing shadows.
