Marienlyst Beach: Only 130 meters to the water's edge - and with a beautiful water view from the campsite

At the foot of the campsite, only 130 meters from the units where your next vacation can be held, you will find our beach with a bathing jetty, Marienlyst Strand. 
Skive Fjord Camping is located right by the water and with a beautiful view of the Limfjord. There is of course also direct access to the beach from the campsite - and thus also to the beautiful Limfjord, which you can enjoy the view of from your caravan, tent, camper or cabin from the campsite. 

For those with walking difficulties, it is possible to drive to the beach (just drive out the campsite's driveway and turn left - and you are there), and there are good parking options very close to the beach. 

The beach is child-friendly, safe, secure, shallow, sheltered, dog-friendly (also in summer), clean and also the starting point for a very special experience: namely trips in completely transparent canoe/kayak hybrids with VisionKayak. 

Our beach is child-friendly - and something of a paradise for the little ones! Here the children can swim, wade, catch crabs, splash and have fun, without having to worry about scary undercurrents, horse holes, quicksand or other dangerous things, which are unfortunately found in many other places. You can safely swim and play at Marienlyst Beach at Skive Fjord Camping! 

Here it is safe, shallow, secure, no current and very rarely waves. In fact, most of the time we have completely flat water at the beach, as there is almost always shelter at the beach. Our beach faces east (and in Denmark we almost always have westerly winds = shelter at our place) and the coastline is high and covered with trees all the way down to the water's edge, which provides extra shelter at the beach. 

Dogs are of course also welcome on our beach! So if you love taking Fido out to cool off in the water on a hot summer day, then this is the campsite with the beach for you. At any time of the year you can go to the beach with your dog with us - also in the summer and holidays, when many other beaches are unfortunately closed to dogs. Maybe you love playing fetch in the water? Maybe you have a real water dog who just wants to swim regardless of the weather? Maybe you enjoy swimming together? Or strengthen tendons and joints with a little water therapy? Then your dog will definitely write a holiday at Skive Fjord Camping at the top of his wish list - because here you can swim together and play as crazy as you want; also in the summer months! 

Whether you and your family enjoy a leisurely ride on a SUP board, have sea kayaks on the roof of your car, or are a hardcore water sports enthusiast with salt water in your oars, our beach and fjord can offer something very special to you. For example, Skive Fjord has produced some of the world's best windsurfers, all of whom are from the surf club that is based on our beach. At the same time, it is also from Marienlyst Strand that VisionKayak's are competing with their trips in GLASKAJAK® (which everyone can join regardless of age and experience level).
Under the right conditions, the fjord and the beach have something for everyone, and if you stay at the water's edge you are almost always sheltered. 

The bathing jetty on the beach is equipped with floating modules on the outside that make it really easy to get in your kayak, aboard your stand up paddle board, on your windsurfer or out with your kite.
