Booking and terms and conditions

Remember that in our online booking you can book pitches and cabins with us 24 hours a day - whenever it suits you, whether it's Saturday evening with camping friends or Wednesday morning before work.
If you have any questions or would like to book by phone or email, you are always welcome to contact us using the information at the bottom of this page. In the text below you will find useful information regarding the use of online booking and regular booking.

You can read about how we process your entered information, how you receive your receipt in connection with a purchase and much more. When SKIVE is written below, it is used as a synonym for Skive Fjord Camping.

Payment
All prices stated in the SKIVES online booking system are, like everywhere else on the website, stated in Danish kroner including VAT and all taxes, unless otherwise stated and clearly stated in the situation in question.

Payment is made using one of the approved debit/credit cards in online booking, including Dankort, Visa, Mastercard and Diners. There is no fee charged for transactions made through online booking.

Information about trading on the Internet
You can shop safely on the Internet through our online booking system. As a consumer, you are basically protected against any misuse of your credit card on the Internet, therefore there is no deductible for misuse of your payment card via the Internet. You can read more about how you as a consumer should deal with payments on the Internet on the following websites: www.betaling.dk, www.fdih.dk.

Shipping and delivery
When booking and paying for a cabin, a rental tent, a place for your own tent, or a place for your own caravan, you will be presented with a contract from SKIVE, which includes the accounting for your purchase. The contract can be printed from the website after booking has been completed, and is also sent via email immediately after purchase, if the correct email address is provided by the buyer.

Delivery of the ordered product takes place upon arrival at SKIVE on the day of arrival (and ends upon departure on the day of departure). Both of these times are stated in the above-mentioned contract.

Right of withdrawal and cancellation of stay
We would like to point out that your booking is not covered by the Consumer Agreement Act's rules on the right of cancellation. The sale of accommodation (cabins, camping, etc.) is covered by a special exception in the Consumer Agreement Act's section 18, subsection 2, no. 12. The booking made is therefore not covered by a 14-day right of cancellation. The reason for this is that re-letting a reserved cabin/apartment/site that is cancelled just a few days before arrival will often not be possible.

We recommend that you take out cancellation protection. It costs 295 DKK.

If you have purchased cancellation protection (must be purchased at the same time as purchasing or paying for your holiday stay in our online booking - cannot be purchased in connection with a seasonal pitch) from us for DKK 295, the following applies:
In the event of illness (doctor's certificate), the following applies:
In these cases, cancellation protection covers until 12:00 on the day of arrival. The full amount minus DKK 295 will be refunded upon submission of documentation in the form of a medical certificate.

If there is no illness, the following applies:
Cancellation more than 60 days before arrival results in a full refund minus an administration fee of DKK 500.
Cancellation between 60 and 30 days before arrival results in a refund of 50% of the amount.
Cancellation between 29 and 0 days before arrival will only result in a refund upon presentation of a medical certificate.

If you have NOT purchased cancellation protection from us, the following applies:
We assume that most guests have cancellation insurance through family insurance/home contents insurance or via their credit card. Returning the amount paid is a matter between you and your insurance company.

The customer is not released from payment of the rent if, due to personal circumstances or force majeure (war, strike, natural disasters, epidemic/pandemic, closure of borders and the like), the customer is prevented from exercising the right of use that the customer has according to the rental contract.

Force majeure
Neither party is liable for a breach caused by circumstances that the parties should not have anticipated when entering into the agreement, including strikes, lockouts, epidemics/pandemics or other circumstances that are considered force majeure under Danish law.

We reserve the right to errors and price increases/changes.
SKIVE reserves the right to make corrections/changes in prices on both the website, online booking and printed materials. If a booking with an incorrect price occurs, SKIVE reserves the right to cancel the booking and refund the full amount.

Offers, discounts and discount codes cannot be combined unless otherwise expressly stated in the individual offer.
