Here you live right by the water with a beach and a bathing jetty in the middle of nature with forests and fields - and close to town.

You are close to the city (4 km to the center with pedestrian street, shopping, cafes, restaurants, etc.), close to shopping opportunities (2,2 km to the supermarket) and close to the marina with two restaurants and an ice cream shop (3 km via paved bicycle/footpath at the water's edge).

Bathe, swim, splash, slide, swim as crazy as you want when you stay at the campsite! Of course, there is free access to the swimming pool, which is heated by solar panels.

Camping holiday with a view

The campsite is completely laid out in terraces on a south-facing slope down to the Limfjord.
Here you will find one of Denmark's only campsites that is completely laid out in terraces. The site itself is incredibly beautiful and an experience in itself - the landscape architects who designed the site have really gone to great lengths to ensure that the vast majority of pitches have a view from their pitch. In addition to the magical panoramic view of the Limfjord, you can also find pitches with a view of the rolling Limfjord hills in the landscape around the campsite, with a view of the forest or of the campsite itself. From almost all pitches it is possible to see water - either as a fjord view or as a real panoramic view.

Lots to do nearby on holiday

Lots of experiences, restaurants and attractions nearby await you
Lots of exciting places await you right outside your door when you are on holiday at Skive Fjord Camping. The surrounding nature is of course packed with hiking and cycling routes. At the campsite's beach you will find one of the only places in Europe with trips in completely transparent canoe/kayak hybrids, GLASSKAYAK®From the site it is only 3 km to Skive Marina and only 4 km to Skive center with a pedestrian street filled with delicious specialty shops and cozy restaurants.
Within a 25-minute drive you can find everything from medieval castles to Europe's largest limestone mine and other beautiful natural experiences - for example on the island of Fur. Major attractions such as Legoland®, Tivoli Friheden, the North Sea Aquarium, Ree Park Zoo, Djurs Sommerland, Kattegatcenteret, Fårup Sommerland etc. can all be reached within a maximum of a couple of hours' drive. In just 2h15 min you can be standing on Grenen near Skagen!

The North Sea is only 60 minutes away, and is therefore also an obvious destination for a day trip. Then you can drive out to be blown through in the harsh nature of the West Sea, and come home to enjoy the evening in the warmer Central Jutland with the peaceful Limfjord without scary undercurrents, waves, etc.
There is plenty to experience here for young and old, whether it is active, culinary or cultural.

Dogs welcome

Dogs are very welcome at the campsite, and there are plenty of great opportunities for walks nearby. The beach, which the campsite is located next to, is also dog-friendly, so Fido can swim with the rest of the family all summer. You will also find several dog parks close to the site. CLOSE TO EVERYTHING

Skive Fjord Camping is located in the middle of nature directly down to the Limfjord with a beautiful water view - and yet it is only four km from the campsite to the center of Skive town with its pedestrian street, shopping, restaurants, etc. It is 2,2 km to the nearest supermarket and 3 km on the cycle path along the water to Skive Marina with two restaurants.
