Invite big and small, four-legged and two-legged, along for a cozy walk, bike, roller skate or scooter ride along the Limfjord's water's edge. The paved path that starts on the beach just below Skive Fjord Camping is a safe place for the kids to burn off some energy, because there are no cars nearby. You walk through a couple of forest areas that go all the way down to the water's edge, you can switch between walking on the beach or on the path, and about 2,4 km into the path you can turn off for a walk into Krabbesholm Forest, which also offers lots of lovely routes. You can also continue to Skive Harbour, which is 3 km from the campsite on the path and enjoy homemade Italian ice cream while admiring the many beautiful yachts.
The path leads to many eateries, experiences and the pedestrian street. In addition to Krabbesholm Skov, the path also leads to Restaurant A Hereford Beefstouw, which is located approximately 2,8 km inland, the working workshop at Guldsmed Ø and the Glaspusteriet Gnist in the beautiful, old Resenlund. At the harbor you will find (in addition to one of the country's most beautiful marinas) Restaurant Ballast, and about 700 meters past the harbor is the Havnekiosken with ice cream and sausages, which also marks the entrance to Krabbesholm Herregård, which today houses a design and architecture college. After that, you can either turn down past the industrial harbor, where you can walk across Denmark's longest wooden bridge, or you can follow the road up to Skive Gågade with plenty of shopping opportunities and cafes. All within walking or cycling distance!
