Holiday at the Limfjord: Only 130 meters to the water's edge - and with a beautiful water view from the campsite

At the foot of the campsite, only 130 meters from the units where your next vacation can be held, you will find our beach with a jetty right out into the Limfjord. 
Skive Fjord Camping is located right by the water and with a beautiful view of the Limfjord. There is of course also direct access to the beach from the campsite - and thus also to the beautiful Limfjord, which you can enjoy the view of from your caravan, tent, camper or cabin from the campsite. 

For those with walking difficulties, it is possible to drive to the beach (just drive out the campsite's driveway and turn left - and you are there), and there are good parking options very close to the beach. 

The beach is child-friendly, safe, secure, shallow, sheltered, dog-friendly (also in summer), clean and also the starting point for a very special experience: namely trips in completely transparent canoe/kayak hybrids with VisionKayak. 

Skive Fjord Camping is located right down to the Limfjord and with a fantastic panoramic view of the clear water. So if views and being close to water are important to you when you are camping, then you have the right place! The campsite is laid out in terraces, so everyone has a degree of view with us; and quite a few of them (the panoramic pitches and the XL panoramic pitches) have the most beautiful, wildest panoramic views of the Limfjord. 

Many of our standard pitches also have a fjord view, and all pitches have views of the forest, the surrounding fields, or the rest of the campsite. There's something for everyone!

Skive Fjord Camping is located right next to Marienlyst Strand by Skive Fjord, which is part of the Limfjord. The beach is a pebble beach, but there is a really nice bathing jetty, so don't let that stop you from going out for a swim! There are also several areas with sand on the stretch towards the harbor, and inside the harbor you will find Strandtangen, where there is the most wonderful sandy beach - only 2,6 km from Marienlyst Strand by the cozy fjord path.

Skive Fjord is safe bathing water; here you can safely let the kids splash and swim, because there are no scary undercurrents or anything else to take into account. The coast faces east, so you are well protected from westerly winds when swimming. For this reason, there are almost never waves here and always sheltered.

In addition to having great playgrounds at the campsite with lots of fun, we also see the Limfjord as a huge playground right in your backyard! Whether you are 67 and love kayaking, whether you have a couple of little ones aged three and seven who want to catch crabs, whether the teenagers are going to take VisionKayak on the water in the completely transparent glass kayaks, whether your windsurfing-loving husband needs to bring out the toys on holiday, or whether you are perhaps going out with the fishing rod, the Limfjord can do it all!

At the far end of the jetty are two floating modules with a special rubber strip all around - specially made for putting kayaks, SUP boards or windsurfers in the water. So don't forget to bring your toys!

On the beach there is also an outdoor fitness center in the training pavilion with a 180-degree view of the fjord, where both young and old can work out or play, and there is the coolest paved bike path right at the water's edge, which you can follow all the way to the harbor and the forest. There are no cars that can get near the path, so here you can safely let the kids ride bikes, roller skate or scooter, or just enjoy a nice walk - together.
