Camping holiday with pool: Free access to solar-heated swimming pool

Remember to pack your swimsuit when you go camping, because there is free access to the lovely, solar-heated pool on site. Got a water dog or three in the family? We LOVE the pool, and your kids probably do too. There's a shallow, safe kiddie pool for the little ones, a small waterslide, and two depths in the main pool. 

While the kids splash around in the pool, there are of course plenty of sunbeds (over 50!) and parasols for mum and dad all around the pool. The pool is centrally located on the campsite, and there is plenty of sun all day - and with the fence around it and a bank to the west, there is usually shelter, so you can easily enjoy the sun in your swimsuit. 

The swimming pool is heated by solar panels, which means that it quickly gets nice and warm when the weather is nice. The swimming pool typically opens around Whitsun and closes again at the end of August - both depending on the weather.

Of course, there is free access to the pool when you stay overnight at the campsite! So here the water dogs can run free and the bathing ducks can get plenty of water under their wings.

The swimming pool has a safe small children's pool with shallow water for the little ones. From here, a small waterfall runs down to the rest of the pool, which is just long enough for you to swim a small lap - or play, splash and jump in. There is also a small water slide. 

Ah, is there anything better than relaxing by the pool with a good book, playing games with the kids under the shade of the parasols, and enjoying the sun and the crystal clear, turquoise water? It feels completely like a holiday in warmer climes; but fortunately you don't have to drive that far to have a fantastic holiday with a swimming pool. And then the children can happily talk to their new playmates, because you are back home in Denmark, so they speak the same language. Is there anything better?

As the icing on the cake, our swimming pool is heated by solar collectors on the roof of the service building, so even though it can sneak up to 30° during periods of sunshine and summer weather, you can keep your green, clear conscience: it is a completely sustainable heating when it is done with solar collectors.
